Autumn the Archer 3D final by Beezul Autumn the Archer 3D final by Beezul
Heres my second low poly character unwrapped in and originally created in Maya. Exported to modo for Texturing and tweaking.
I havent modeled the bow yet, but will as soon as I rig these two characters.
original concept can be seen here

I do want to model Warph the Dwarf.... but I really dont know if i'll get to it. First on my list is modeling a Mob for these two to battle. Check back for some rough concepts on that.

Hi... it's old but awesome!
Will get back than, to see the new one!
Congrats again my friend!

Btw, I getting a huge headache trying to UV map a character for a game here, It's a lightwave model, UV in uvlayot, and painting on bodypaint... but nothing seems to work. I envy you bro!!! lol

i find that doing these things becomes more difficult when using multiples softwares... i do all those things in modo. XD also 3dcoat is much better than bodypaint

This is really cool, love the concept :D how many tris/polygons did you use?

Beezul Featured By Owner Mar 4, 2010  Professional Digital Artist
thank you so much. Alot of preliminary sketching was involved in designing this character. I eneded up picking an old face i drew in my sketch book to carry the armor design. Its 1803 tris. Kept the count as low as possible without sacrificing too much from the original form

though it is very pointy at places.

thank you.
the pointyness is due to my self imposed limitation. I set the total poly count to under 2000. The character would most likely be for an MMO where the 3D models polycount must be kept to a minimum to ensure good game performance.

I see.. yes, that is the logical thing to do.

Well.. I doubt she looks that pointy id 3D as she looks in this single picture.
